The Roosevelt Suite

In April and May of 1903, President Theodore Roosevelt visited Wyoming, speaking at Yellowstone National Park and the towns of Newcastle, Evanston, Laramie and Cheyenne as part of his eight-week, 25-state tour. His route, like a 14,000-mile lasso flung to rope the whole American West, snagged points as far north as Fargo, N.D., and as far south as Los Angeles. On April 24, Roosevelt dedicated a new arched gateway to the park.

The Roosevelt Suite, aka the The Bear’s Den, is a suite the kids will love. This Grizzly Bear themed room is downstairs and can accommodate 6.  One of the largest suites at the Historic Wapiti Lodge, with 3 queen pillow-top beds and ample seating. Fully equipped and stocked kitchenette and great bathroom area.
